What happens if STMicroelectronics virtual com port driver version 1.0 and 1.3.1 is sitting on windows 10 computer? How will it behave? As inbuilt / inbox / out of the

box windows driver is sufficient for Windows 10, what version of the driver will windows 10 use in both the cases - 1) No STM driver Version installed 2) 1.0 and 1.3.1 version of driver sitting in the user's computer (Windows 10).

It will use the most up-to-date version as default, you can override this from device manager and force it to use older version if needed.

Better not to mess with the driver's at all if you don't know what you are doing, win10 is very good at automatically downloading and setting up drivers which does work, the ones it downloads for STM products automatically does work out of box.
