Avnet (main) has 0 stock and wants a 960 pc MOQ. No thanks. Need to confirm the bugs before releasing to production. Checking if the part is available in China - our bet is yes.

Answering my own question...Mouser has stock of the STM32U5A9NJ. This is supposed to be the same pinout as the STM32U599NJH6Q but with encryption which at this time is not required. We can initiate our designs and builds using this variation.
