STM32Fxxx SWD Firmware

Hi, I'm just a Firmware Engineer

recently, i 've designed the mcu circuits.

i 've checked the stm32f072 DISCOVERY Board few days ago.

in the board block, it embedded SWD (2-Wire for J-TAG)

USB Connector --- MCU(STM32F103) for SWD --- MAIN MCU (STM32F072)

so, i decided to embed it.

but i have some curious...

how could i get SWD firmware??

because the circuits for SWD and interface logic is provided by ST, it is not difficult to design it

but, i think the MCU for SWD is also needed for some firmware which is operating SWD (J-TAG)

does anyone know this? or am i stupid?

ST doesn't provide the firmware, but it can be found with a Google search

For next design, you may also want to consider to use the ready-to-solder STLINK-V3MODS module instead.
