Hi everyone,

I am configuring my system_stm32f7xx.c file and I noticed while looking through the reference manual that the max PLL frequency is only 180Mhz. I am looking to get 192Mhz. Does anyone know how to get more than 180Mhz? and Why is the board advertised at 216Mhz?

The information is found on page 164 of the reference manual. It is in the caution in the PLLP bits of the RCC_PLLCFGR register.

Thank you for the help,

Bradley

This should read 216MHz, the VCO is rated up to 432 MHz so it can get to that. The VCO has been characterized from 100-432 MHz

These documents are edits of the previous F4 series ones.

I will push this to moderation so they can get the documentation fixed.

    Hello,

I decided to go with a lower frequency because I missed your reply. I'll increase it to my liking.

    Thank you!

I will push this typo in the reference manual to be corrected.
