Hi Does any one know the minimum lead count device I need to choose on STM32F429 to ensure it supports SDR SDRAM memory? In the datasheet it only mentions 100L can only support PSRAM and some other Flash based.

I would like to know what types of memories are supported by FMC on each of these pin counts offered on STM32F429 & STM32F469

100L

143L

144L

169L

176L

208L

216L

Hi henry.blue,

In STM32F429/469 datasheets, in the Pinouts and pin description section you find a summary table about FMC pin definition on different supported memories.

Based on this table and using STM32CUBEMX you can easily identify supported memories on FMC interface per package

Hi Syrine,

The FMC table was not very helpful as I dont know much about the STM32CUBEMX. Could you tell me the minimum pincount device to pick from STM32F429 if I were to interface with an external SDR SDRAM? The same question applies to STM32F469.

Thanks for the help,

HB

Please use CubeMX. this will take you a few minutes.
