STM32F4 Discovery and Rn-41 Bluetooth module

Hi, Iam completely new and lost, i want to interface a bluetooth module, I have found some examples but i cannot receive any data on hyperterminal when i run these codes. Actually i need help to find out from where i can start. Can someone give me an outline of what needs to be done?
