    With the PLL the typical is around 8 MHz, ST spec a min/max of 1 and 25 MHz, though they don't claim to test that. Other PLL's I've used have mins in the 4-5 MHz range. The min/max for Foscin is 4 and 16 MHz, typical 8.

    The part is fully static, as far as I know, and I've run HCLK down to 31.25 KHz (8 MHz/256) and 15 KHz (8MHz/512), using the internal 8 MHz (HSI/

    SYSCLK

    ). Gets kind of sluggish and the peripherals are no fun.

    In the data sheets at some positions HSE is 125kHz, but I have never tested it. I think, that some peripherals won't work with 125kHz.
