    Hi Tom,

    It would be helpfull if you could provide and post your screenshots of the different steps so I can debug and investigate it using my board.

    Hi ,

    I was wondering whether anybody has had problems using the Flash Loader Demonstrator with the STM32F103C6T6 Revision B.

    I am working on one of my own board designs, not an eval board. I now that the board layout is fine as when i have been developing the firware for the boaud using KEIL uvision i have had the USART1 working and many other bits and pieces.

    When i come to erase or programme using the Flash loader the board goes in to boot mode ok (Boot0-->1 and Boot1-->0). The first stage pass's and Flash loader and returns the PID 0x as 06410041 and version as 2. However whenever i move to the next step erasing or programming the uP seems to jump out of the boot mode and the status bar goes red after the time out period and gives me the error message operation failed. I have tried this on 5 differnt uP 3 of which have never been programmed and 2 which i have used for development purposes with the KEIL uvision and programme ok via the JTAg.

    An ideas or pointers in the right direction would be great!

    Could you post a better resolution for step 2 , I'm not able to see your selected device option ? Thx.

    if not i have selected STM32F10XX6XX from the drop down box.

    I hope this step 2 is better, I have just tried the upload after flashing the device using keil uVision. The Flash loader worked ok for the upload returning a hex file on my desktop and the green status bar at the bottom of the page.

    Could you try to make an upload first as well and tell me if it is working ?

    None of the devices from the list work for download or erase. On all devices after the process has been chosen, it jumps to the status step and eventualy after the time out period the operation fails.

    one thing to note it that if erase or download are atempted by the loader the uP seems to jump out of boot mode and back into the programme that is already onboard, or in the case of the unprogrammed uP back into the idle state. This does not happen when uploading!?

    This show's my design atatched to BOOT0, boot 1 is pulled to Deck via a 10K resistor. The idea of the push button is that it is held down during reset (also triggered by a push button) to allow BOOT0 to be high and BOOT0 to be low at power up. I have used this on many other uP designs and never had a problem.

    I have also tried holding the BOOT0 button down for the whole period. so that BOOT0 is high during the whole process of erasing and uploading but still the operation fails.
