Question

STM32CubeMX permissions bug. Seems benign, but you be the judge.

Mac install, CubeMX 4.22.0, but all the versions do this.  The Mac installer is broken and has been for many versions, so we install from the command line with sudo java -jar.  At any rate, when making a new project, this error message comes up, and it shows a bad path.  See attached image. specifically where it says db//plugins.  that extra slash is probably what borks it.

    Hello

    doe.john.016

    ,

    Great thanks for your comment.

Could you describe a bit more your environment ?

Which java version, which OSx version ?

I think the point is that you have installed the application with root right.

Could you check the file privileges ?

It should be 644, owner must be your user and its group should be admin (if your user is part of the admin group).

Could you try to reinstall with normal user rights (you can do it by specifying another directory)?

    Kind regards

    Sirma
