Hallo,

i have a problem with the speaker demo application. after connecting the STM3210B-EVAL the driver is installed and a device STM32 Speaker is visible. But i can't play sounds on it. Does anybody know why? I use STM3210B-EVAL with Segger J-Link and IAR Embedded Workbench 5.11..works fine.

Did you figure out why the speaker doesn't work? I am having the same problem. Windows detected it but the speaker does not play any sound. Windows doesn't seem to allow the volume to be adjusted for the speaker.

JP6 is fitted, an Application with WavePlayer works fine. It use Vista Business with SP1. I get an device called STM32 Speaker, but i cannot play musik on it. The standard format is 8 Bit and 22000 Hz. And it seem that this is not kompatible. I also cannot send an test tone to the device. Message : Seem device not ready...

I tried the same example and it works fine.

Just check that the JP6:speaker (near the LCD) is fitted.
