stm32 truestudio gdbserver connection failed

Truestudio v5.3.0

stm32f407

running gdbserver in persistent mode get failed connection when trying to connect from within truestudio ide. Have to disconnect stlink power off/on target board a number of times before connection established. Was working ok for a while until now. When using stm32f103 in another project never have this problem. Has anyone experienced this very frustrating!!

Hi la_greca.emilio,

Try to run an example of the package STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.7.0 on TrueStudio. May be the problem results from your configuration.

Problem is with USB on laptop.  Tried another laptop with same configuration, STlink and target with no problems!
