Question

ST technical engineers, can you guys give me some information about the RCC spread spectrum function in the STM32H753IIT MCU? And do you have any better ways of mitigating EMI when using STM32H753IIT MCU?

What do you miss from the description in the datasheet 5.3.12 PLL spread spectrum clock generation (SSCG) characteristics?

In the STM32H753IIT datasheet and STM32H753 Reference Manual, there are no detail information about spread spectrum clock generation (SSCG). I just want to know how can properly enable this spread spectrum clock generation (SSCG) by software settings.

I don't see any mention of it on stm32h7. (I do see it on stm32f4, stm32f7 and stm32l4).

Where do you see that stm32h7 has spread-spectrum clock-generation?

Note: You might achieve spread-spectrum effects by using the fractional-n PLL synthesis feature. Have you tried this and seen what is looks like on a spectrum-analyser?

Out of interest, what frequency/clock/harmonic is presenting a problem?
