SMT32F031 Power Sequencing

In Section 3.5.1 of the STM32F031 datasheet states:

The V

DDA

voltage level must be always greater or equal to the V

DD

voltage level and must be established first.

�

The statement �

V

DD

voltage level and must be established first

� is a bit confusing. Does this imply some sort sequencing is required? Or can the two pins be tie together?

I think 

Because VDDA power up the clock, it need to be first to make sure MCU running correctly and not making any annoying things to the IO.

 

it seems it  can be tied together.

because the demo board did tie. 

for that reason, the quote from ST  confuse me too!
