Question about STM32H743 Errata Sheet ES0392 Rev 7

In Section 2.2.13 of ES0392, it states that there is "unexpected leakage current" if Vin >Vdd.

What is the bound on the leakage current (assume an FT pin type):

Vin = 5V and Vdd = 1.8V

Vin = 5V and Vdd = 3.3V

Vin = 3.3V and Vdd = 1.8V

Thank you.

 Hello @damon kutten ,

Sorry for the delayed reply on this.

The leakage will happen in all these scenarios:

  • Vin = 5V and Vdd = 1.8V
  • Vin = 5V and Vdd = 3.3V
  • Vin = 3.3V and Vdd = 1.8V

Hope this answer your question, otherwise please clarify your question.

Best Regards,

Can you tell me the amount of leakage current, in these three scenarios?

Hi @damon kutten ,

Unfortunately, at the moment we have no data to share regarding the amount of leakage current.

But what does "unexpected leakage current" mean?

Someone must have measured this, and the result did not conform to expectation.
