problem when loading program into flash memory pf my STM32VL discovery

can't download my program

on the STM32F100RBT6B of the discovery board

and a the dialog box of downloading shows no progress of the programming process.

I had the same problem. the red LED still blinking showing a communication between STLink and the STM32 device but the dialogbox still showing no progress and nothing happens. is it a hardware problem knowing that i made no hardware modification on the discovery kit?

Can you access the Discovery board with the STLink-Utility tool ?

I did not yet mess much with IAR WB, but make sure you selected the right debug adapter. The STM32VLDiscovery is the 'old' STLink adapter version (V1).
