Hi. I bought stm32f469i and Nucleo-h745 boards. H745 connects to STLink no problem. But the F469 discovery board doesn’t connect. I tried installing reinstalling drivers, connecting to other computer nothing worked. I couldn’t find another cable that I could try with so I ordered a new one it’s is going to arrive on Wednesday.

Meanwhile is there anything else I can try?

There are already questions similar to this one on the forum but nothing seems to help me. It is the third day for me messing with it.

LCD powers up though. Red communication light keeps flashing slowly.

any solution?

Wrong port or charging cable both seem reasonable candidates.

Should be the Mini Cable, not the Micro one, check also power jumpers.

But what is saying "No ST-LINK detected" ?

Does it show up in the device manager, or as an unknown device?

    On a hub, docking-station, DELL ?

    STLink utility.

Nothing shows up in USB or Ports in the device manager. Usually windows makes notification sounds when some device is connect but not with this board .Thats why I wanted to try it with new cable which will be here tomorrow.

I was trying it on my lenovo W530 laptop without docks. I also tried on virtual on my MacBook pro.

Discovery boards usually have multiple USB connectors. Plugged the wrong one by any chance?

i am connected to mini USB port. Power selection jumper is set to STLink.

I guess I have to wait for the cable to arrive. I will update then.

thanks for taking time to respond to this post.
