lost gpio.c file after regenerate code

Many times, but not always, when I modified some pin configuration in CubeMx and regenerate the code, I lost the gpio.c file.

Anybody can help?

I had the same problem with STM32Cube V1.0 version 4.2.0. MX stopped generating the gpio.c file after adding few ports. I brutally deleted the backup-directory after which cube generated the gpio.c file again, i also tried to create empty gpio.c file but it did not help. Naturally this can't be desired work flow but a bug, but hey there's Java involved so anything odd is feature :)

Once again today, cube stopped to generate gpio.c file. The ''resolution'' i presented above did not work this time, however during the generation if i refresh (F5) the Src-folder i can see gpio.c being created and then deleted. I updated java to 7u60 but no help. Is there any common thread or forum MX developers follow to fix bugs on upcoming releases?
