One can also understand this as thread. 'Allwinner Technology Inc.', another chinese company, has recently made a big impact on the tablet market with it's A8 derivate, while being heavily subsidized by the chinese government. They even destroyed some smaller competitors on the way.

Heard of other chinese companies, which got prepped up by taxpayers money again afterwards. At least it was only chinese taxpayers money this time ... That's what I call the anti-Midas effect. I might be wrong, but I believe chinese uP companies, especially ARM licensees, are still in copycat mode, and not really able to roll up foreign markets. That might change in the future...
