I have to write a code for STM32VL Discovery to interface keypad 4x4 key and display the pressed key of keypad on LCD 2x16 .

The purpose of homework is for you devise your own solutions. Employers in the field also assume you can working things out yourself too.

Adding 4x4 keypads has been covered in nearly every text book on microprocessors since the dawn of time, well at least the UNIX epoch. The 16x2 LCD has also been used on dozens of eval/dev boards in recent years. Try looking at a couple, and the schematics and source that come with them.
