I downloaded the IAR EWMARM V6.30 which support STM32F4 series. But my IAR J-link doesn't support this cpu and I can't download and debug the code. Anyone can tell if I need to update the J-link and how? Thanks!

Segger's web site always carries the most current drivers and firmware for the J-Link pods. Support may depending on the version of the pod you own, but it's not mentioned, or if your board expects JTAG/SWD support.

Download the most current drivers, install, and then use the JLINK.EXE tools to verify connectivity. The install will most likely copy the DLL's to the correct place for IAR, if not, check for a Segger directory under the IAR install.
