J link plus programming STm32F46

Hi forum ,

we decided to make a test buying a segger j link plus debug probe.

We are using SWD debug interface

We are using STCubeIde for programming

When w etry to program the micro we got :

- Can not attach to CPU. Trying connect under reset. -

Connecting to CPU via connect under reset failed. 

Any idea what could be ?

Double check setup, wiring and voltage levels. 99.9(+ many 9s)% the error is on your side.

You seem to be having a lot of problems with this board/design.

How exactly are things wired up? Does NRST connect to the debugger interface?

What is the code on your device doing with respect to pins used by the debugger, or putting the processor in low power modes?

Does it program when blank?

Does it program when BOOT0 HIGH?

This really shouldn't need to be a guessing game.

Make a more thorough presentation of the problem, benefits here are two fold, a) it makes you understand/explain what you're doing and how you've tested it, which might cause you to discover the issue, and b) others might be able to see or diagnose what's wrong in the process, without needing to repeat things you've effectively tested already.
