There are manuals for those that use those, and for commercial clients of merit there are FAEs

I'm coming from using the AVR where there is a strong and active community. In the past I often found the answers I needed by consulting these forums. I have also found answer through the corporate route, but answers are slow in coming.

I'm hesistant to consider the ST32F4 if there is not the equivalent community.

I tend to make choices based on the technical aspects of the design, if the design is technically sound the same questions shouldn't need to be asked and answered a thousand times.
