Question

Is it possible to use 1V8 VDD and 3V3 VDDA on the STM32H7S3?

Hello,

I want to use a STM32H7S3 at 1V8 but was wondering whether I could still use VDDA at 3V3 in order to be able to use the internal voltage reference. I know that this was impossible on a lot of older MCUs, but I can't find any information which points to this being impossible on the H7S/H7R series.

Dear @ictogan ,

Welcome in STCommunity and for asking your first question.   The answer is yes, this is possible :  We can use VDDA at 3.3V while operating the VDD and I/Os of STM32H7Sxx MCU at 1.8V

We have no restriction for it and you can use full scale resolution of ADC and so Internal Reference Voltage either for the MCU or at your board for others ICs.

Hope it helps you.
