Solved

I'd like to use the same firmware for different types of MCU.

Hello everyone,

I faced a shortage of MCU materials.

So I found an MCU that uses the same pin map.

I would like to change STM32F767IIT to STM32F767IGT.

  1. Please let me know if the change is okay.
  2. Clock does not work when using STM32F767IGT.

If bootloader is used, systick will not work; if disabled, systick will work.

( bootloader is STM32F767IIT firmware).

I need help.

Please answer me.

Hello,

F767 to F767 is fine, and you shouldn't have differences between both.

>> Clock does not work when using STM32F767IGT.

Your Systick issue is probably not related to the change of the flash size.

Thank you for your answer.

You mean can I use the firmware made with stm32f767ii for 767IG?

It is always better to adapt/recompile your firmware for your specific target.

But as long as your firmware fits in 1MB flash and don't make use of flash blocks after the 1MBytes limit,

I don't see any reason why it won't work.

Anyways you know better your own design, do the appropriate checks.
