How to start the ADC in STM32F746NGH6 Discovery

Has somebody an easy solution for starting a basic ADC conversion in
STM32F746NGH6 CPU. ADC3 channel 8
would be good because that is connected out. Without HAL because I have tried to combine a HAL version and an other example but it has taken too much time already. Always some definitions are missing and there are too many block comments.
