Question

How to power-supply the STM32H735-DK Discovery board when onboard st-linj-v3 is used? I found it in the documentation that it can consume over 700mA out of 5V

Plenty of information about this in the user manual. Look at "6.2.2 Supplying the board from VIN: 7 V to 12 V/800 mA".

I have a 1000mA 5V Power-supply with micro-USB connector.

I want to plug this into the USB-OTG on the 735 an set the power-jumper to USB-OTG. The st-link v3 I connect to its connector on the 735.

Okay?

I'm fairly certain the user manual says you can only draw 500mA from the USB connector.

The STM32H735G-DK BOARD seamed to be debree now. It is unbeleaveable that the board will have to be powered by the arduino 5V female connector. How can it stand then on its 4 feed? I hope Digikey will take it back.
