Question

How to Connected LCD Parelle Display into STM32H743ZIT6

iam using winbond SDRAM to connect in FMC pins to display image without rendering issue but it will not works. how to solve this any one can guide me

Hello @Sathish_Sulthan and welcome to the ST community,

Such kind of question formulation doesn’t help to converge into a solution.

What do you mean by “LCD parallel display”, is it over FMC, or LCD-TFT interface (LTDC)? both are parallel interface.

If it’s over LCD-TFT please refer to the application note: AN4861 “Introduction to LCD-TFT display controller (LTDC) for STM32 MCUs”

If over FMC, you need to connect it as an external SRAM. I invite you to inspire from the STM32F4G-EVAL:

Unfortunately there is no hardware example with STM32H7. But they have the same philosophy.

Be careful, with STM32H7 and an LCD connected over FMC, you should configure LCD address region as Device or Strongly-Ordered using MPU, otherwise you’ll face communication and rendering issues with the LCD.

Please refer to this thread:

Hope that helps.

Most likely a D-Cache/MPU issue — the H7's Cortex-M7 has cache enabled by default, and if your LTDC framebuffer in SDRAM isn't configured as non-cacheable in the MPU, you'll get exactly this (no errors, just no proper rendering).

Also worth double-checking: your Winbond SDRAM timing values match its actual datasheet (not copied from a different chip's reference design), and your LTDC pixel clock (PLL3) is configured correctly.

Does a plain SDRAM read/write test pass on its own before LTDC starts? That'll tell you if it's cache vs. timing.
