How to connect STM32U599NJ to MT29F16G08ABCCBH1-AAT:C

Hello everybody

Could someone provide me with a schematic diagram for connecting an STM32U599NJ to an MT29F16G08ABCCBH1-AAT:C?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards

Hello @KNIGHT CHEN and welcome to the community;

Which interface do you want to use to connect MT29F16G08ABCCBH1-AAT:C memory?

If you want to use the OCTOSPI interface, first of all you need to check whether a memory is supported by the interface or not.

The command format and order shared in the device datasheet must be aligned with the command format and order mentioned in the STM32 reference. Please look at Overall FAQs for QUADSPI/OCTOSPI/HSPI/XSPI article.

If the memory is compatible with OCTOSPI interface, I advice you to check How to reach the maximum OCTOSPI frequency section 2. Hardware recommendations.

 Also, you can refer to STM32U5A9J-DK schematic and get inspired to design your schematic.

I hope this help you.

Thank you.

HI Kaouthar

Thank you for your reply.

Since I didn't see the connection method for Nand flash, I chose to use eMMC flash.

This topic can close.

Thank you.
