How many 1.2V internal regulators on-chip for STM32F779NI ?

Hello,

Micro-controller used : STM32F779NI

Question:

My understanding is that there are two 1.2 V internal regulators.

[1] The regulator that gets enabled by holding BYPASS_REG pin as low

[2] The backup regulator that gets enabled through PWR_CSR1.BRE

Am i right ?

Yes, these are two mutually independent regulators, but why would that be important?

Initially i was confused with LPR mode of the regulator with the backup regulator. That's when i had posted this. Thanks.
