We are pleased to introduce our STM32L4 series and new microcontroller development ecosystem comprising prototype boards for all budgets and STM32Cube software support for the

now entering full production.

Engineers, students, and hobbyists on a budget can also get into performance-oriented, energy-conscious embedded design using the STM32 Nucleo board (

http://www.st.com/nucleo-l476rg

) at $10.32. The Nucleo board has Arduino Uno headers for access to a wide choice of extension shields and integrates the ST-Link debugger/programmer that saves any need for a separate debug probe and allows drag-and-drop Flash programming. The Discovery and Nucleo boards both provide direct access to mbed online tools.

A full STM32Cube software suite is available, including the

configurator and initialization-code generator with built-in design wizards and power-consumption calculator. In addition, the

model-specific embedded software provides a Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), application examples, and new Low-Layer APIs that help maximize performance and runtime efficiency. The APIs can be used in parallel with the HAL and simplify migrating projects developed with STM32 standard peripheral libraries into the STM32Cube environment

Designers have now available six STM32L4 lines that offer economy, a range of application-targeted features, and extra package choices:

       - STM32L4x1 (Access line)

       - STM32L4x2 (USB Device)

       - STM32L4x3 (USB Device, LCD)

       - STM32L4x5 (USB OTG)

       - STM32L4x6 (USB OTG, LCD)

The new lines are scheduled to enter volume production during Q1 and Q2 2016.

    Hi

i want to report a bug regarding the download link for STM32CUBEL4 embedded software package.

I recently purchased a STM32L476RG nucleo board. In order to check example programs,i recently downloaded theSTM32CUBEL4 embedded software package by this link. But upon extracting the rar file using Winrar,it was showing that some files were corrupted. Also the example programs were showing error when compiling in MDK-ARM.The size of the rar file was nearly 212MB.

I thought to download it again,so i clicked the download button at the bottom of the page. Now this time it was showing filesize of 133MB.I also tried to download the package several times. But each and every time,it was showing different file size.

But as I tried to download the STM32CUBEF4 embedded software package,it was always giving the file size of 310MB.

Please take a look regarding the issue.I am attaching screenshot for your ref.Just monitor the archieve file size in three different screenshots.
