H7: cycle counter and sleep modes

Heyho,

is there an overview when the cycle counter (DWT->CYCCNT) keeps running in which sleep modes?

Or can anybody tell me?

This info is spread over all kinds of documentation, and AI doesn’t give me a clear answer.

Or is it always running “directly” with the CPU clock, which is then also turned off for the cycle counter in any sleep modes?
