Mayla,

Could you be so kind to update your permanent post and add a link GNU ARM Eclipse plug-ins project? (http://gnuarmeclipse.livius.net/blog/)

It is highly portable (Windows/OS X/Linux) and also provides a large collection of STM templates that generate ready to run blinky and empty projects.

Thank you,

Liviu

    Hi Liviu,

    Thanks for your contribution.

Sorry, but now only internal posts may be kept sticky.

Anyway, you can continue keeping us informed about new updates on the GNU ARM Eclipse plug-ins project.

    Welcome again.

    Hi,

We are using Liviu's ARM eclipse plugin and really like it. It is surprising how there is such an all platform, open IDE solution that integrates all the other open solutions such as openocd for debugging connection and the arm gcc toolchain and there is no mentioning by ST. It works great with the ST32 products I've tested so far, which is our own testboards and some Nucleo boards.

ST can only benefit from such a low barrier to entry IDE, it fits in nicely with the awesome Nucleo boards.

It appears that some people have successfully used the ''GNU ARM Eclipse'' plug-ins project to build and test the source code provided by ST.

Would it be possible for someone to post a quick ''how-to create a GNU ARM Eclipse projecting using ST source code''.

    Thanks

The request was not to make my post sticky, but to update your sticky post and add a reference to the GNU ARM Eclipse project (http://gnuarmeclipse.github.io).

    Thank you,

    Liviu

    Thank you, Karsten.

Unfortunately ST completely ignored this project :(
