For the STM32F105, what parameters (besides frequency) of a crystal oscillator should you consider when looking for one?

Does load capacitance matter for a given device? Or does that only effect the caps you pair with the oscillator?

Load capacitance can matter.

In general, most crystals will work. You could also just choose one already on an ST board to be safe without doing any work.
