    Hi

    I am currently looking at reducing the component count on a PCB which use a STM32F103 micro, am considering remove the USART as its only function is to provide a method to update the flash.

    I see that the CAN port can be used to perform this operation on the STM32F105 and 7 micros (AN2662), is this also possible of the STM32F103 micro? If so how can this be achieved?
