Question

Does the STM32F413 use the LSE generation 1 or 2?

The document AN2867 (Oscillator design guide for STM8AF/AL/S, STM32 MCUs and MPUs) defines to groups for the F4 series: F4_g1 and F4_g2. There is a list with the controllers for each group, but the STM32F413 is not mentioned.

That's referring to the ability to change the LSE drive strength. The STM32F413 has an LSEMOD bit in the RCC_BDCR register, so it would be in group 2.

Hello,

I confirm that the LSE generation of STM32F413 is not mentioned and it will be added in next release. This LSE has two drive level and it is generation 2.
