It's evidently a small die, targeting small packages and people using LPC devices. A part that can compete with Maxim and be an STM32 with more that 16KB FLASH in a 3x3 mm package.

Presumably something meatier would be another member of the STM32H5 family..

What's the specific appeal of the H503 vis the STM32H562xx and STM32H563xx?

Mouser seems to have some stealth stock of the NUCLEO-H5 boards in the 64 and 144-pin variants. Non-Stock boards magically shipped last night, so should see by Monday.
