how many ways Discovery board(stm32f4discovery board) can be damaged? in my board LD8 is on (overflow current).how can i recognize this issue?

Almost unimaginably many ...

But the most probables are static discharge, incorrect connection, and short circuit.

Examine the schematics, and then check the voltages of power supply part.

I suppose you find a component who's output is not as supposed.
