DISCO-F413ZH + X-NUCLEO-IKS01A2 Motion MEMS and Environmental sensors interrupts

I recently got a DISCO-F413ZH + X-NUCLEO-IKS01A2 Motion MEMS and Environmental Sensor, and going through the example on MBED5 here:
The example code goes well partially, i can get readings through asynchronous calls, like get-xxx , etc. However the interrupts assigned to D4, or D5 seems not being triggered, so that code does not work ? so far did not touch the board, or the header pins, same for the original code ? do i miss something ? like enabling interrupts, pin assignments, board + header incompatibility, etc ?
