Ports F and G are not available in 100 pin STM32!

With this condition can STM32 100 pin FSMC support SRAM?

    Dear Kuni, all

You can connect your SRAM in muxed mode ( if it support this operating mode). There is a new application note that should be released soon on our web pages where we give more details about the supported memories in 100pin & 144 packages and how connecting them to our FSMC controller in a simple and glueless way.

    Hope this helps you. Cheers,

    STOne-32. ;)

I am trying to source suitable NOR flash, and pSRAM or SRAM memory for use in multiplexed operation. I have looked at AN2784 and although it gives a fair amount of information regarding interfacing separate data and address bus memory devices, it gives very little information on multiplexed options. I assume that the memory device must be able to operate in multiplexed mode. Are there any memories available that will interface easily with the 100 pin device?

As I can see it from the datasheet and pin mapping, nonmux mode is also possible, but without lower 16 bits of address. This is just fine for simple peripherial devices that use only chip select.

    P.S.

I hope that application note and/or datasheet/usermanual with more details will be soon posted on st site.

On 100pin package only FSMC Bank1 and Bank2 are available. Bank1 can only support a multiplexed memory NOR/SRAM because address lines from A0 to A15 are mapped on PortF & portG. :o
