There are no ''basic commands'' in the F4 discovery.

It is a development tool with integrated SWD debug adapter and a preprogrammed example application. Could you be more specific what do you mean ?

If you need a manual describing the instructions in a Cortex-M4 please check the ARM website for documentation about the core.

ST has datasheets and manuals for the STM32F4 parts, and the peripherals contained therein.
