Beware: fake discovery - Stm32f4 Discovery Stm32f407

Sorry if that's known but I've only learned today that on eBay you can get a board which tries to look like stm32f4discovery while it's only a copy

on eBay they list it as 'Stm32f4 Discovery Stm32f407' (spelled with a space)

note how audio connector is green

note lack of ST logo

note how all LEDs are blue

and serial-over-USB does not work on this example

and it costs above $19.90 the real one costs in the USA!

    The original STM32F4-DISCO didn't support the USB/VCP connection, even the newer STM32F4-DISC1 board you'd have to solder wires to the ST-LINK's STM32F103 part.

    Both buttons look to be black also, and the ground jumpers at the top don't appear to be populated.

    Lot of fake stuff on eBay. A clear photo might work better than the video here.

    serial-over-USB - I mean on the micorUSB of the stm32f407 chip with my custom firmware. will ask that guy for a picture - the board is in Norway I am not

    This board may be Chinese FAKE.

    There is a lot of copy/fake/clone boads(even mcu) on ebay and aliexpress.
