Question

Additional Tariffs on STMicroelectronics Orders Shipped to the USA?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to place my first order from STMicroelectronics for the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q and STLINK-V3SET, with shipping to the USA.

The checkout total is $130.63, including shipping and estimated tax. However, there's a notice stating that additional tariffs or import duties may apply.

Has anyone recently ordered from the ST eStore in the US? Were you charged any additional tariffs or customs fees after checkout? I'm trying to understand the final cost before placing my order.

I've attached a screenshot of my cart for reference.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Not from ST, but from Mouser the various line items (not necessarily ST) often have an additional Tariff of 5% to 10%.  This last one was paid by credit card so I don’t know if I saw the exact tariff at checkout or not.  You might want to compare you cart versus domestic distributors.  It’s curious that you have the option of UPS Ground, which tells me that it’s possibly coming from Digikey or Mouser anyway.

Thanks for sharing! I already compared the prices. DigiKey comes to around $154, while Mouser is about $161, including tariffs and shipping. ST's price seems better, but I'm unsure how much extra I might end up paying in tariffs. I've contacted ST support but haven't heard back yet.
