Hello.

I wanna ask that I don't know about the filename of IBIS about

STM32L1.

I download it from the product page, it looks like:

0690X0000060BYwQAM.png

I don't understand what ''429/427/436'' is.

I googled that it's about STM32F1XXX or other, and the ''XXX'' is the number.

Are they different in simlation?

Tks for your help.

Hi

alieon

‌,

The 427,429,436 and 437 are the device identifiers.

For the STM32L1 family, we chosen to name the files using their product identifiers and not their part numbers.

For sure that haven't any impact on the simulation, the content is the same.

Dear

alieon

‌,

You're using the STM32L152RC MCU -> 256KB flash memory.

0690X0000060BaTQAU.png

-> Product category = Cat.3

0690X0000060BbMQAU.png

->Device identifier = 0x427

The screenshots are taken from

https://my.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/reference_manual/cc/f9/93/b2/f0/82/42/57/CD00240pdf/files/CD00240pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.CD00240pdf

''Product category definition'' and ''MCU device ID code'' sections.

As a conclusion,you should use the''stm32l1_427_lqfpibs''as your IBIS file.
