I loaded the demo project from the workbench onto my STEVAL-SPIN3204, but whenever I use the monitor to start the motor I hear a beep and feel a pulse, but the motor does not spin. Did I miss anything?

This is the monitor from the legacy workbench. Whenever I try to set a speed and press "Start Motor", it immediately drops to 0. Also, the status is permanently set to "stop".This image is of the motor pilot v 5.Y.3
