Question

Does STEVAL-SPIN32 allow direct torque/current control (no speed) on a BLDC motor?

I would like to know if it is possible to send a torque/current reference by UART to the MCU in order to perform a direct torque control system.

Thank you in advance,

Best regards,

Giulio Bonetti

Dear GBone.1

Do you have still this problem to solve?

Good afternoon,

Yes, i have difficoulties in perfoming direct sensorless torque control on a low voltage bldc motor (outrunner gimbal motor ~48V) by means of a steval-spin32 board that i bought.

The best would be the capability to control the motor even with very low angular speed (still is better).

Best regards,

Giulio Bonetti

Dear @GBone.1

Could you give more details to the STM32 Community about the material you use (HW and SW, tools and versions, board(s), motor(s) and so on)?

And more especially did you use MC tools (MC_suite, MC-Motor Profile, MC-SDK, MC-workbench, and so on)?

Best regards

If not, feel free to reopen it by posting an answer.
