STM32Cube_FW_F4 contains CMSIS-DSP libraries for CM7: why?

This looks like a bug to me;  STM32Cube_FW_F4 V1.17.0 contains CMSIS-DSP libraries for Cortex-M7 - I haven't yet tried using them, but I'm pretty sure the CPU in the F4-series is a Cortex-M4F. Is this not a bug?

The search here isn't always very effective, I was involved in the conversation but still had to strafe the search terms to pull it up.
