Is it possible to update a stm32g081 chip firmware over a web interface or over serial?

You can do a firmware update at least via serial connection using the STM32CubeProgrammer.

You will find additional information in AN2606, section 40.

Maybe when 081 have ethernet or wifi and implemented bootloader you can update over web , but this all code is by you
