Cube Description and Installation

I have returned to stm after several years away. On my return I find many things changed, for the better by the look of things. I am a self taught amateur and I find myself ignorant of much here. I wanted to use cube but can only find i document concerned with installing cube. The document suggests it only installs on windows. I have a cube component with installers for windows, mac and linux. The en.stsw-stm32094.zip I downloaded will not install into eclipse. Eclipse does not think i is an appropriate file nor does it have anyway to install it, I think that I need an overall view of cube and installation instructions. Does such a document exist ? thanks for any help at all. pete
