Solved

The STMPE811QTR Touch controller of my 3 month old STM32F429I-DISC1 board is defective (short circuit) and needs to be replaced. What is the solution for this Case? Where can i order this spare part? Thank You

Hello Manuel

The STMPE811QTR is an obsolete device and not available as a stand-alone device. The STM32F429I-DISC1 is available on the eStore but not the obsolete STMPE811QTR.

The part is obsolete, so probably not going to be available in single quantity from retail distribution.

Check your return policy with your board vendor.

Thanks for reply!

I have bought it directly on https://estore.st.com/en/

ST still sell products, which use STMPE811QTR anyway (e.g. STM32F429I-DISC1) and stop availability and producing of spare parts, and they do not offer any compatible device regarding this component?

Have I understood that correctly?
