Hello,

I use ST-Link Utility v4.0.0 and STM32F103RC.

Command

ST-LINK_CLI.exe -c SWD -OB RDP=1

gives message 'could not update the option bytes' but option bytes updated. And command returns an error code.

GUI gives the same message.

It happens for F1 but not for others (e.g F4).

Yes, I also recently had a struggle with the option bytes. There is some funny business in the 103 parts. Keil also refuses to program. I traced it down to something with the fpec unlock, but I won'tbe using option bytes since I can't reliably program them.

Read protection does seem to work though, since that only requires erasing.
